Jeremy is a degree qualified Structural Engineer (Building Structural Engineering BSc. (Hons) Bath University 1988) and a Graduate member of the IStructE – a bit of a chip on my shoulder but I have never had time to sit the chartered exam! I have 25 years + experience in the industry, both in the UK and abroad.
Whilst at Bath University Jeremy studied alongside Architects and M&E Engineers: it was strongly evident that a combined design team was the best way to produce an integrated, economical, and buildable design – indeed, it is essential. This is an ethos that is at the forefront of our approach to every project. Even with small extensions or structural alterations the proposed builder is consulted as part of the design process where possible. Quality communication with clients, the design team and builders / contractors help to ensure that the design and construction process runs as smoothly as is possible. There are sometimes unforeseen challenges along the way, but these are dealt with in a timely and professional manner to ensure continuity. This holistic approach is essential to the way that we engage in every project and the benefits are evident from the list of Architects and Contractors who reuse our services.
With vast experience in consultancy and manufacturing we understand the benefit of value engineering to the build process and the client’s budget.
The result should be a project which:
- meets (or hopefully exceeds) our client expectations, both in terms of vison and costs
